Primegems was founded in Mumbai by Shri Ramesh V. Doshi, a diamantaire guided by a single conviction — that integrity is the only currency worth keeping. From those first dealings in the heart of India's diamond trade, the house grew steadily through the 1990s, opening Prime International BV in Antwerp to bring our craftsmanship to the world's most discerning markets.
In December 2025, we returned to the soil where India's diamond craft was born — establishing our own manufacturing facility in Navsari. It is the natural next chapter: a deliberate move toward vertical precision, where every stone we cut, polish and certify carries the full weight of the Primegems name.
